Wildwood Lodge

Hunter Valley Hinterland, NSW

Wildwood Lodge has been thoughtfully renovated in an elevated country aesthetic — warm timber, natural linens, layered textures. Beautiful and genuinely liveable without being precious. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, sleeping up to eight. Every detail considered. Every view intentional.

Living & Dining

The open-plan living, kitchen and dining area is oriented entirely around the view. Doors open wide onto the large deck, blurring the line between inside and out. Wood burning fireplace for cooler evenings. The kind of space where meals run long and conversations go later.

Living room with green sofa, wooden coffee table with cheese, grapes, and wine glasses, fireplace, large glass doors leading to a deck with mountain view, and large windows with white curtains. Wildwood living

The Kitchen

Fully equipped for self-catering, with quality appliances, Nespresso machine, and coffee and tea provided.

Living room with two green sofas, a wooden coffee table with snacks and wine glasses, large windows looking outside at trees, and a kitchen with wooden and white cabinets, a window, and stainless steel appliances. Wildwood living area

The Bedrooms

Three beautifully appointed bedrooms sleep up to eight guests comfortably. The master features a queen bed and private ensuite. The second bedroom offers a queen bed with valley views. The third is a thoughtfully styled bunk suite, ideal for families or groups.

Bedroom with a black metal bed frame, beige bedding, multiple pillows, wooden nightstand with a lamp, window with beige curtains, and a view of trees at sunset. Wildwood main bedroom with valley views

The Bathrooms

Two beautifully appointed bathrooms — a private ensuite to the master bedroom, and a main bathroom serving the rest of the lodge. Clean lines, quality finishes, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

A bathroom with white tiled walls and a wooden vanity with a round white sink, a candle, and a tray with four white cups. There is a large wooden-framed mirror above the vanity. Two windows with wooden frames bring in natural light. Towels are hanging on a metal towel rack. A toilet is visible on the right.

The Deck

Our deck is the heart of the lodge. Morning coffee as the mist lifts. Long lunches.
Sundowners as the valley turns gold. There's nowhere you'd rather be.

A spacious outdoor balcony with wooden flooring and log cabin walls, overlooking a scenic view of trees and hills during sunset. There are chairs, a small table with two glasses of white wine, and additional seating in the background. Wildwood deck

The Spa

The private outdoor spa bath overlooks uninterrupted mountain views. Heated, secluded, and best experienced at dusk with a glass in hand.

A scenic outdoor patio during sunset with mountain views, a small fire, Adirondack chairs, a bench, a hot tub in the foreground, and string lights overhead. Wildwood spa

The Resort

As guests of Wildwood Lodge, the adventure extends well beyond your private acre. Swim in the saltwater pool, kayak the freshwater lagoon, play tennis, shoot pool, explore 30 kilometres of bush walking and mountain bike trails, or venture deep into the sub-tropical rainforest. A children's playground and shared BBQ facilities round out the offering.

Everything you need for a full day out — or the perfect excuse to do absolutely nothing.

A peaceful outdoor swimming pool area during sunset, with lounge chairs, a wooden deck, a fenced tennis court in the background, tall trees surrounding the area, and a partly cloudy sky. The wilds retreat resort facilities
